Major Learnings

I learned a lot from this subject how to make a blogs. In the module i learned not much but i apply those learning to my present work. In the last case, i learned how to use the Microsoft Vicio, MS Project. I also learned time mangement,teamwork, participative and how to be more cooperative for the team. I know pivot table.


What should Sir John continue to do......
For me, i'll be thankful for him to be my professor for the different cases that i learned. You may continue giving challenging cases to the next bach for them to know more. Be more productive, and resourceful for them to experience what we experience now.


What area should be improved..........
I wish that the time schedule would be improved that classes will be on time.....

OUTSOURCING

The act of contracting with an outside vendor to assume resposibility for one or more IT functions and services.

In many cases ownership of IT assets (including technology and employees) is transferred to the outsourcers. Thus outsources were able to sell and or demonstrate that they could provide the information technology and services cheaper than the current in-house information services unit. Despite some well-publicized horror stories, the data suggest that most businesses are satisfied with their outsourcing deals. In other words, outsorcer will be contracted for technology or expertized that will return real value to the business.

Thus, many system analyst (and other computer professionals) can expect to be absorbed by outsourcers that assume resposibility for an organization information system development. When an information sevice unit or function is outsourced, its employees typically become new employees of the outsourcing vendor. Over time the outsourcer may retain the employee, terminate the employee, or reassign the employee to a different customer.

The employment opportunity afforded by outsourcing vendors. These outsoucers must retain a high quality, technically competent workforce of information technology managers and specialist, including system analysts. Thus, outsourcers offers system analysts many of the advantage of consulting but, with one major difference-less travel. Because outsourcing agreement tend to be long term, job assignment last longer than a single project.
